What’s wrong with this story?

Ellington Families Are Investigated - Findings Are Made -

with NO DUE PROCESS

FIRST: OSSE’s surprise May 9th Letter to Families:

The Notice of Finding of Non-Resident Status ONLY Informed Families that:
- A final decision was rendered on investigations that they did not even know had occurred.

- Their cases would be sent to the Office of the Attorney General without an opportunity for review with OSSE, or for appeal at an Administrative Hearing.

- That there was one person and number that they could call with questions - neglecting to note that she was in the Attorney General’s office!
